Ethylene Carbonate is a colorless transparent liquid over 35℃ and a crystalline solid at room temperature with 248℃ of boiling point, 160℃ of flashing point, 1.3218 g/mL of density, and 1.4158 (50℃) of refractive index.

Application

Ethylene Carbonate is good solvent of polyacrylonitrile and polyvinyl chloride. It is utilized as a spinning fluid in textile industry, a solvent of removing acid gas, a concrete additive, a pharmaceutical composition and raw material for medical engineering, a plastic foaming agent and synthetic lubricating oil stabilizer, and a good solvent of lithium battery electrolyte in the battery industry.

This product is packed in galvanized iron drum or painted barrels，and the net. Weight is 250±0.5KG each barrel, as well as ISO TANK package. Storage and transportation as usual chemical, it should be stored in a cool, dry and draughty warehouse.
